NEURON Conference 2018

The Northeast Under/graduate Research Organization for Neuroscience (NEURON) is an organization that supports undergraduate and graduate education and research in the northeast region of the United States.

The 2018 NEURON Conference will be held on Sunday, February 25 at the Quinnipiac University, Center for Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, 370 Bassett Road, North Haven, Connecticut.

John Salamone, PhD, will present the keynote address: “Probing the Neurochemistry of Motivational Dysfunction in Depression and Other Disorders: Studies With Animal Models”

Workshops and exhibitors will include:

  • Career Panel
  • (Re)building Healthy Brains
  • How to Make a Scientific Poster
  • One additional workshop to be announced

NEURON's Primary Goals:

  • To provide an open forum for neuroscience undergraduate and graduate students to present and discuss their work with students and faculty of similar interests.
  • To provide faculty an opportunity to discuss curricular and research issues in neuroscience, biopsychology and related areas.
  • To provide resources to enhance communication and collaboration among neuroscience researchers and educators.

Submit your poster abstract. Submission deadline is Wednesday, February 15.
